It’s So Amazing!

A person’s body and how babies are made are amazing topics!  You can learn how long it takes a baby to grow and how the baby gets food when it is in its mother’s body.  You can learn other amazing things like what puberty means and why your body goes through changes.  Your body is amazing and can do the most amazing thing by working to create more bodies!

 

What reader would like this book?

This is an introductory book about the body and sex that parents would want to read and discuss with their younger children.  The author uses a balance between scientific language and language that children can understand.  There is a little humor as well since the narrators are a bird and a bee.  The illustrations also represent a diverse population so many readers will be able to identify with the bodies.
